Harvest was in full swing last week as Minnesota farmers took advantage of warm and dry weather.
USDA’s latest crop report says soybeans are 88 percent harvested compared to 76 percent last week, 93 percent last year, and the five-year average of 80 percent.
Corn harvested for grain reached 62 percent, two days ahead of a year ago and six days ahead of the usual pace.
Potatoes are 93 percent harvested, sugarbeets are at 92 percent, and the sunflower harvest is 63 percent complete.
