The widespread rains and cooler temperatures through mid-August are revitalizing pastures and Missouri producers are glad to see it.
In southwest Missouri, Glenn Cope tells Brownfield they have received close to 5 inches of rain this month, good news for hay production.
“We are hoping our fall pastures will come around here,” says Cope. “It looks like we’ll have enough hay, we’re hoping for another cutting, but north of us has been awful.
