The National Farmers Union (NFU) is turning up the heat on Scott Pruitt to institute a waiver for summertime sales of E15.
NFU biofuels advisor Anne Steckel says the EPA administrator has authority to lift arbitrary Reid Vapor Pressure restrictions in time for this summer’s driving season.
“We would really encourage the Administration to look at all of the available options they have through their regulatory process to achieve an expedited rule-making process.”
Current RVP guidelines prohibit the sale of E15 and higher ethanol blends from the beginning of June through mid-September.
