Heavy rains delay harvest progress in Wisconsin

Heavy rains across the state left less than two days
suitable for field work in Wisconsin last week, delaying harvest progress.

Corn for grain harvest has begun in parts of southern Wisconsin,
with 1% complete. As of Sunday, the crop is rated 65% good to excellent and 30%
is considered mature. Corn for silage harvest reached 31% complete, 18 days
behind the five-year average.

Soybean harvest is ahead of corn harvest at 3% complete.
