The seasonal decline in beef values also contributed to the day’s lower beef prices. December live cattle closed $.22 lower at $116.70 and February live cattle closed $.05 lower at $120.60. January feeder cattle closed $.72 lower at $148.42 and March feeder cattle closed $.15 lower at $146.
Direct cash cattle trade is dead quiet.
