Democrats on the U.S. House Ag Committee say they will not compromise their principles in a bipartisan farm bill.
During a call with reporters Tuesday, Ranking Member David Scott of Georgia says Democrats do not support using Inflation Reduction Act funding for other intended purposes.
“We will not compromise on our principles or shortchange on the promises made under the Inflation Reduction Act or the nutrition title of the 2018 Farm Bill,” he says.
