The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship says another case of highly pathogenic avian influenza has been confirmed in the state.
The affected site is a backyard mixed species flock in Benton County, and it marks the 14th time the disease has been detected in the state since October.
State Ag Secretary Mike Naig says poultry producers need to prevent contact between their birds and wild birds.
