Hurst: Trade aid welcome but drought pain remains

Missouri Farm Bureau President Blake Hurst: “The trade assistance is welcome news for the soybean farmers who have suffered from trade retaliation and have a crop to sell this year.”

He says Missouri Farm Bureau will continue to work to get relief for the many Missouri farmers whose crops were devastated by drought this year. They are still suffering numerous effects from low commodity prices but are not helped by this program. Missourians should not be left behind.”
