As of Sunday, 36% of Illinois corn was silking , way behind last year when it was almost 100 percent. Corn condition 78-percent fair to good. Soybeans emergence is 96 percent. Soybeans blooming were at 30 percent, well behind last year and the five-year average of 72 percent. Two percent of soybeans were setting pods. 77 percent fair to good. Illinois winter wheat harvested was 94 percent.
