An Illinois farmer says he’s been fortunate with good crop weather and his biggest concerns are with ag policy decisions.
“We can grow the best crops in the world, but we have to have a good price or we are in trouble too.”
Daryl Brinkmann, who farms in Carlyle, Illinois, says his corn and soybeans are looking good and wheat harvest is almost complete, so his biggest worry involves trade.
“My biggest worry is with President Trump renegotiating NAFTA and tariffs he has put on products coming from China and of course how they are retaliating.
