Increasing the use of biodiesel across the state and country
is a top priority for the Illinois Soybean Association this year.
Public affairs and marketing manager Andrew Larson tells
Brownfield that was the main talking point from Chairman Doug Schroeder at their
annual meeting earlier this month.
“Pushing towards the ultimate goal of a 20% blend rate of biodiesel here in Illinois from the current about 5-10% blend levels.”
Larson says engagement and education are the most important
factors.
