A corn specialist says there are several strategies that can help manage corn rootworm.
Adam Theis is the US corn marketing lead for Pioneer. “Breaking up that crop rotation is what we’ve seen as the best thing folks can do to help manage corn rootworm pressures long-term,” he said.
He says producers can also plant hybrids stacked with multiple traits that target larval rootworm.
