Indiana conservation groups recognized for record achievement

The Director of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture says a record number of farmers are investing in conservation projects to maintain or improve soil health.

Don Lamb says the Indiana Conservation Partnership assisted with more than 50,000 installations in 2023.

“Agriculture and natural resources together are the key to quality of life for everybody. If we don’t have food if we don’t have good resources, that really is what determines quality of life,” he said.
