Indiana corn and soybean associations supporting biofuels tax credit bill

The Indiana corn and soybean associations are supporting a proposed biofuels tax credit bill to boost the state’s economy.

Steve Howell, the Senior Director of Industry Affairs for the Indiana Soybean Alliance and the Indiana Corn Growers Association says retail partnership incentives will benefit farmers.

“The biofuels tax credit bill provides an incentive for retailers to offer,” he said. “As the consumers have that choice of biofuels, it benefits our farmers with increased demand for the corn and soybeans.”

He tells Brownfield expanding biofuels availability also benefit the consumer.
