Indiana Farm Bureau has set policy recommendations that will help guide the organization during the next legislative session.
Justin Schneider, director of state government relations, says renewable energy topped the discussion during the recent Indiana Farm Bureau delegate session.
“Renewable energy-what’s the appropriate role of government in deciding what the landscape is going to look like,” he says. “At the end of the day the changes that were made within the policy for both solar and wind are that we support the development, but it should be up to local standards.”
