The vice president of Indiana Farm Bureau was among a small group of ag leaders who discussed trade with President Trump, Vice President Pence, and Ag Secretary Perdue at the White House this week.
Kendell Culp says his biggest takeaway was that the administration has a clear strategy in negotiating trade agreements.
“After they get NAFTA renegotiated then they want to move on and would like to do a bilateral with China, get in with the EU as they’re already talking to the EU and get some agreements there and possibly some Pacific Rim countries,” he says.
