Interim hemp rules get push back

The USDA’s interim
hemp production rules are getting some negative feedback.

The American Farm Bureau has submitted comments saying the USDA needs to improve testing rules, expand the testing timeline and give clarity to hemp transportation.

Farm Bureau
delegates voted at their recent convention to increase the allowable THC level
in hemp up to ONE-Percent. The law now limits THC content in hemp to POINT-three-Percent
or below.
