Iowa farmer cautiously optimistic about grain prices

Rusty Olson grows organic and conventional corn and soybeans near Garner.

“I guess I’m optimistic with of course the weather, the markets are surprisingly starting to come back around in the conventional world and corn is seeing some really nice rallies lately.”

He tells Brownfield grain marketing targets are looking more attainable.

“We set them a little bit higher than where the market is at, and we had some really nice offers up around that $4.85 futures range for December of 2024.
