A southwest Iowa farmer says fertilizer prices have been a challenge this fall.

“You really had to be pushing the envelope on when you were going to write the check for it because it seems like every few days it was going up in price,” he said. “I think it’s kind of held steady now for the last month or so.”
He tells Brownfield he’s not expecting input costs to drop anytime soon.
