An Iowa farmer wants Congress and the Trump Administration to know that farmers are hurting and need some help.
Dave Walton of Wilton, Iowa will testify Wednesday before a House Small Business subcommittee hearing in Washington.
“We’re suffering right now for a variety of reasons,” Walton says. “The trade issue, some infrastructure issues, and other government-controlled things are hitting us pretty hard right now—and it’s kind of all at once.”
Walton says for some farmers, this may be the last crop they plant.
