Two Iowa farmers say they’re looking forward to a good harvest this fall.
Josh Nelson farms with family near Belmond in north-central Iowa. He says they’ve probably lost about ten percent of their corn and soybean crops to parts of fields that were drowned out. But otherwise, Nelson says, the crops look great.
“The yield potential is there for over 200 bushels to the acre for a lot of our corn,” Nelson says.
