The head of a biofuels group says the American Petroleum Institute’s recent endorsement of E15 is a big step for the blend to become available year-round.
API joined a letter to Congress last week supporting a permanent fix for year-round sales of E15.
Monte Shaw is the executive director of the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association.
“I’m glad it’s public and I’m glad the pressure is now on those that are still trying to hold this up,” Shaw said.
