The Grand Island, Nebraska Police Department says a JBS semi trailer carrying $275,000 worth of beef was reported stolen on Tuesday.
In a press release, the department said the trailer of fresh meat was taken from the JBS Grand Island Beef Plant and never made it to its scheduled delivery point. Police say the truck and trailer has since stopped transmitting its GPS location.
The case remains under investigation.
