South Dakota Republican Congressman Dusty Johnson says one of two
priorities on the House Agriculture Committee is implementation of what he
calls “a good farm bill.”
“I think there’s a sense of good feeling throughout the House about that bill,”
Johnson told reporters Thursday, “but I just don’t think we can declare victory
and go home.”
Johnson, a freshman lawmaker, was just named Ranking Member of the Subcommittee
on Nutrition, Oversight and Department Operations.
