South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson says he’s ecstatic
the USMCA is moving forward but it’s critical to bring it to the floor for a vote.
“It’s good for Speaker Pelosi and her team to say they’ve
reached an agreement with the White House but I have learned in Congress you
cannot count those chickens until they hatch. So, let’s get the thing on the
floor. I am going to be happy to cast a ‘yes’ vote.”
Johnson says he would bet his bottom dollar that 300 or 350
of his colleagues would do the same.
