Judge decides next glyphosate trials will have separate damage phase

A California judge says the next court cases alleging human harm caused by glyphosate will be tried differently.  Northern District Judge Vince Chhabria has ordered two phases for the trials, one to deal with causation evidence and another to handle liability and damages.

The first trial last year was not separated into two phases, and awarded
Dewayne Johnson 250 million dollars.  The court later cut that to 39
million dollars based on legal limits.
