Corn is rated 70% good to excellent with 47% in the dough stage and 24% in dent. Soybeans are rated 70% good to excellent with 67% blooming and 49% setting pods. Tobacco set is rated 72% good to excellent with 61% blooming and 38% topped.
Pastures have declined slightly and are rated 67% good to excellent. Hay is rated 67% good to excellent – but there are still concerns about low yields. Hay supply is rated 68% adequate to surplus.
Topsoil and subsoil are both 82% adequate to surplus.
