Winter wheat is 83% planted, with 65% emerged, and 72% rated good to excellent.
Pasture conditions are stressed due to dry and warmer-than-usual weather. Occasional frosts have stunted pasture growth and just 25% rated good to excellent. Hay stocks are lower than normal, as producers have had to rely on hay earlier than usual.
