Kudlow expresses “guarded optimism” on U.S.-China trade talks

White House Economic Adviser Larry Kudlow says

the U.S. and China are getting “closer and closer” to a trade deal.

He says progress was made when the Chinese

Vice Premier was in Washington last week, and talks are continuing with top

trade officials through teleconferencing.

Kudlow says a lot of the difficult topics

that have remained sticking points are being resolved. He says progress has

been made on the forced transfer of technology.
