Labels continue to matter for consumers

A recent survey conducted by the United Soybean Board took a closer look at consumer preferences and purchasing attitudes toward animal protein.  According to the survey 70 percent of respondents say that animal diet is extremely or very important to consumers when they’re purchasing their proteins at the store.

Carla Schultz is a soybean checkoff farmer leader and also raises pigs in Michigan.  She tells Brownfield the survey confirmed that labels matter to consumers.
