Late season soybean diseases seen in Minnesota

An agronomist in southern Minnesota saw very little
insect pressure but says there was some late season disease emergence in
soybeans.

Dan Kohler with Asgrow/Dekalb tells Brownfield sudden death syndrome started to appear during the reproductive phase.

“Especially in the wet, compacted areas of fields. And white mold in my territory hit the historic low-lying, high organic matter areas.”

He encourages growers to keep track of SDS and white mold at harvest.
