At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live cattle were mostly higher watching Friday’s direct business take place. Feeders were mixed, with some pressure from the mostly higher move in corn. June lives closed $.12 lower at $176.67 and August lives closed $.62 higher at $175.57. August feeders closed $.47 lower at $254.75 and September feeders closed $.20 lower at $255.77.
There was a light to moderate direct cattle trade Friday following the light business on Wednesday and Thursday.
