Chicago Mercantile Exchange live cattle futures were mixed, getting ready for the week’s direct cash business, while watching weather in the major feeding areas and waiting for developments in global trade discussions. December was $.47 higher at $121.35 and February was $.02 lower at $122.75.
Feeder cattle were supported by the lower corn, with traders also waiting for the week’s direct cash trade. January was up $.72 at $148.10 and March was $.22 higher at $145.77.
