The president of Iowa Farm Bureau is thankful livestock producers had fair warning before blizzard conditions swept across the Midwest.
Brent Johnson says the forecast had shown the storm was coming for a little bit of time.
“I’ve talked to plenty of cattle producers across the state who’ve got decent stockpiles of forages right now (and are) getting their livestock into shelters if possible.”
