The Livestock Marketing Association (LMA), based in Kansas City, says it will be a “huge net benefit” to have USDA researchers located in the same city. Chelsea Good, vice president of government and industry says LMA chose to locate in Kansas City because it’s the heart of livestock country.
“We have seen some other sub agencies where they have
started to put some key positions a little bit closer and it’s made them more
accessible.
