Kent Klingbeil, director of precision ag for Ames, Iowa-based Landus Cooperative, says tissue sampling is a good way to understand current crop nutrient levels and to see if they are experiencing any “hidden hunger” issues.
“Where we’re really pushing yields on soybeans we really need to understand those little things that we can tweak to get that last two to three bushels out of those soybeans, to really push for that top yield.”
