Making farm bill decisions

The 2018 Farm Bill reauthorized the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs with some modifications and the deadline to enroll is approaching.

Agency representative says farmers have until March 15 to sign up for the ARC,

ARC-County, or PLC program.

county FSA executive director in Indiana.

“Farmers have to make a decision as to whether or not to update their yields, they need to make a program election to pick one of the three programs available, and then to follow through and enroll in the program for 2019 and 2020,” he says.
