The USDA Under Secretary for Trade is in Mexico and tells
reporters there is a LOT of interest in getting the USMCA ratified, “We heard a
lot of people, not just our U.S. friends but their customers, being very upbeat
about USMCA both the likelihood of its passage down here and how the agreement
came out in the end.”
Ted McKinney says there’s a lot of interest in Mexico, and, also between him and Ag Secretary Perdue, to get steel and aluminum tariffs lifted as soon
as possible.
