Young farmers face many
challenges when starting out in the industry. FFA’s New Century Farmer
Conference is helping members overcome some of those issues.
Carley Coppler grew up
on a farm in northwest, Ohio, where her family raises row crops and cattle.
She says there are
not a lot of opportunities for her and her siblings to come back to the farm,
but she’s hoping to change that.
“My hope is to strengthen our ties with our community and work more with our local grocery store,” she says.
