Michael Clark, co-owner and meteorologist of Indiana-based BAM weather, says it has been a challenging year for farmers across the Corn Belt.
“Some folks are the driest they’ve ever been and some folks are the wettest they’ve ever been,” he says. “The crop is at a record pace from the heat and if you’re southern Minnesota or northern Missouri it’s just totally different worlds out there.”
But, he tells Brownfield conditions in the next few weeks will be favorable for soybeans.
