A professor and consultant from Mexico continues to bring dairy farmers to see new technology and the best cows at World Dairy Expo.
Dr. Fernando Hidalgo tells Brownfield he started bringing farmers to the Wisconsin-based event in 1978. “For five days, we visit cheese factories, and many farms and the other five days, we come and see the show. (World Dairy Expo).
With tough financial times, Hidalgo says very few Mexican farmers could afford to make the trip this year.
