A farmer in central Michigan says he’s surprised how crops have been handling several weeks without rain.
Dave Williams of Elsie tells Brownfield, “It’s kind of across the board, I wouldn’t say things look like a disaster, but they don’t look great either in some places.”
Williams finished planting in mid-May after too wet of conditions delayed fieldwork.
“I’m surprised at how good things look and we’ve got corn that doesn’t really look too bad,” he shares.
