The President of the Michigan Farm Bureau is challenging members to look to the future and prepare for emerging issues.
Carl Bednarski tells Brownfield, “Take a look at these interest rates that are happening and some of the uncertainties around the world—how’s that going to affect trade that ultimately affects all the crops that we produce in this state?”
He says this week’s state annual meeting will focus on ways farmers can increase their bottom line with major policy discussions centered on ways to best manage renewable energy siting, deer damage, and labor costs.
