Michigan Farm Bureau says it’s grateful the state’s land grant finalized funding this year to update ag research facilities.
Senior Industry Relations Specialist Ernie Birchmeier tells Brownfield a new $75 million Dairy Cattle Teaching and Research Center at Michigan State University will take the state’s largest ag sector to a new level.
“This is going to allow us, us being the state of Michigan and Michigan State University and our ag industry partners, to reach out and be in the forefront on cutting edge research, teaching, and extension with facilities that probably can’t be found anywhere else in the United States and maybe anywhere in the world,” he says.
