As of Sunday, the USDA says corn is rated at 55 percent good to excellent with 96 percent dented, and 53 percent mature. Thirteen percent of corn has been harvested for grain and 83 percent for silage.
Soybeans are 87 percent dropping leaves and 17 percent harvested with 51 percent of the crop in good to excellent shape.
