The USDA meteorologist says with all the moisture he expects spring planting delays.
“Maybe it sounds like I am getting a little ahead of myself, but we have so much moisture built up in the soils across the Midwest at this point. There’s just going to be no way to dissipate all that moisture by the time we start thinking about getting into the fields in April and early May.”
Brad Rippey says the big issues right now include ponding and low-land and river flooding.
