Class III milk futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed lower Monday to take back Friday’s gains.
August milk closed down two cents at $15.02. September milk down 11 cents at $16.02. October down 17 cents at $16.26. November closed down 16 cents at $16.23. December through next July contracts closed 15 cents lower to unchanged.
Barrels had the most active trading session, closing up $0.0275 at $1.6475. Seventeen trades were made ranging from $1.62 to $1.6475.
