A USDA trade mission to West Africa this week is bringing home millions in news sales.
Deputy Secretary Steve Censky says more than 40 representatives of US food and ag products have held nearly 500 business meetings with potential buyers.
“We have generated 12-month sales that are projected to be
at least $11.5 million and we expect that number to grow again as there is more
follow on.”
Censky says the interest from West Africa goes beyond food.
