The Minnesota Department of Agriculture would like to make
its 2020 dicamba regulations known by early December.
MDA Commissioner Thom Petersen tells Brownfield the June 20th cutoff date seems to be working.
“Unlike Illinois and some of the other states, we had about 20 cases that we’re investigating currently, which is a very low number. That being said, we are looking at (regulations) for the next growing season, looking at the date and different things.”
MDA denied a request earlier this year to extend the
deadline because of planting delays.
