Minnesota dicamba restrictions for 2023 will mirror last year.
Joshua Stamper with the Department of Agriculture says the cutoff date for applications will remain June 12th south of Interstate 94 and June 30th to the north. He tells Brownfield the entire state will also fall under an 85-degree temperature cutoff.
“The decision to continue to keep these dicamba restrictions in place is really a function of keeping dicamba available to growers that want to use this product responsibly in Minnesota.”
Complaints of off-target dicamba movement in the state fell from over 300 in 2021 to just 32 last year.
